Really commenting on the post below! did you take the spectacular picture of the barn owl? I never saw one so beautiful. Also the Thames/Essex beach. I grew up near Brentwood and had cousins at Southend.........so really enjoyed going for a walk with you. ST story hilarious.........!
No sadly I did not take the picture-wish I had though! I try and take bird photos but they move too fast! Have you been to Mersea Island? I enjoyed visiting there a few years ago and having extremely fresh seafood in 'the company shed' Thanks for visiting!
