I was looking through some pictures from last week of the river in the fog, and noticed the little areas of colour that stood out. So I have cropped some. I love the muted palette with the occasional brighter colour.
Below are the uncropped versions.
That blue color is astonishing! LOVE absolutely the flat pail and the fingernail polish. Everything looks dreamy, misty, moisty, veiled.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the uncropped versions and really love the red boat reflection.
ReplyDeleteWhat a palette of colors the world is...
ReplyDeleteI like the way cropping directs me to details I wouldn't have noticed otherwise---the rope in the first photo, for instance.
Your ability to see beauty in mundanity (is that a word?) never fails to amaze me. I like both versions of your photos.
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting how cropping changes things, isn't it? What IS that last item -- a piece of a sign?
ReplyDeleteI think it is a piece of a sign. Enamel doesn't do very well in the mud!
