The Guardian! It's my first port of call online in the morning for news and culture - it's the best! Your fellow is very good - the other one you did with the wild eyes makes me giggle! :0) P.S. Yes, that is a very '60s looking pussy cat, I agree!
Hi Sarah! Your painting is lovely! He so reminds me of something I was inspired by and did in a paper artdoll (watercolor mostly). He can be seen here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/19394614@N00/3262173390/sizes/l/in/photostream/ Hopefully that worked. Hope you enjoy! *smiles* Norma
I love how you abstracted the man in the photograph. It's very original and fun. Your Mad Tea Party blog was charming and quirky. I love the dolls. They're playful and whimsical.

I love both versions- this new one is nearly too perfect- I feel like I could know him- the first one delighted me- like he was about to reach out and tickle me "I'm Going to get you!" that sort of delight. Both are fantastic- love them! Very much!
Oh, I love The Guardina... especially at the weekend! We read it online. You've done an excellent job in rending the cover image.. and can definitely see him as a doll--brilliant! Must say I prefer the softer-eyed look as well. You must lovely wool for the moustache. :o) Happy Day, Sarah ((HUGS))
