Littlehampton

Littlehampton makes me think of the fifties.


This arcade may well have been here then.



Municipal benches where you can take in the view of the road.

    I used to go there a lot to visit the Body Shop HQ. But we went en famille a couple of years back (and stayed in a travelogue on the outskirts!).

    I remember that little arcade very well from that visit. And a very nice curry somewhere in the middle of the town.

    Littlehampton is one of those places that seems forever on the verge of either fading into decline or suddenly becoming very trendy (and expensive). Thankfully neither seems to happen.

    I haven't been to Littlehampton for years! I remember that it has a very long, gradually sloping beach so it takes hours to get to a depth that can be swum in!
    I love your photo of the nets - all ready for 'fishing'.
