I love Greenwich, as you can probably tell, the amount of posts I write about it. It is a feast of visual inspiration. Yesterday it seemed to take on a magical persona at first...
Changelings in the market.
An elephant walking across the plains of the window sill.
A giant silver moth flying across a table.

Greenwich is soon to become a Royal Borough. I thought it already was one!
Love the photos. What benefits will it have being a Royal Borough?
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful photos!
ReplyDeleteAs far as cats go, what you said on my blog about your cat is so cute and funny!
A really fabulous post. You made me look even closer at every photo. You have a brilliant artist's eye on the world. I love it! Have a good week. Ros
ReplyDeleteLondon has the best markets. I went to the Camden Markets when I was there and a few others in the area, but didn't get to the Greenwhich ones. Went to Greenwhich to see the big naval buildings etc though - absolutely gorgeous! Love the Thames! P.S. So glad you enjoyed The Swimmer! Mr Cheever is such a great read, isn't he?
ReplyDeleteNot sure what benefits being a royal borough will have-I need to look into it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking us on a fun, fun visit to a real open market. Here on the edge of the wilderness

we are fortunate to have a Walmart withing driving distance.
I Looked on the map- looks like Greenwich is very far from London, relatively, of course. Would love to go there when we go to London. We won't have much time, however.
ReplyDeleteI think that the tree is winning!
I thought Greenwich was already royal, too. I love your photos - the lemons make my mouth water and the elephant and the ship both look so stately.
ReplyDeleteLove this post.. My daughter went to Grenwich Uni, so we visited quite regular.. Looks a lot smarter these days..
