School jobs are taking my energy and time. Photoshop is obsessing me. So other art activity has been lacking. The other night I did a load of doodly pages with little phrases that came to mind-after I drew each little face. I worked out how to select and then overlay in a new layer, then rub out whichever bit I needed to to let the new layer show. I got quite confused at the mathematicalness of it all but still enjoyed it.
Thanks for strengthening my belief in NOT getting photoshop! ;D
ReplyDeletephotoshop IS addicting! to be sure
ReplyDeletethese are adorable!!!
but i am still gonna play with the photoshop...
Nice work! I like the small mottoes too. Yeah, not a joiner and don't tell me how to feel.
ReplyDeletePhotoshop is such a powerful piece of software I think NO One could say they have ever completely mastered all aspects. And if they did--just wait for the next upgrade. Boggeling and addicting.
I like what you have created here.
ReplyDeleteIt may be my good fortune not to have access to photoshop as I most likely would become addicted to its wonderful ways :)
best wishes for all your creative endeavours and thanks for sharing

I love these!
ReplyDeleteI guess it is good I have Corel draw as I just can't get the hang of it so far! But as soon as I can I will get Adobe Photoshop!
These quotes sound like me!
I like the background script in 1 and 3. I like the quotes too!
ReplyDeleteI like your quotes! Isn't it funny how we get addicted to things - then sometimes it wears off and we wonder why we liked it so much .....
ReplyDeleteps blogger (generally, not just you) seems to have a new trick - the word for the verification is missing, so I click on publish comment and it tells me I got it wrong and gives me another word ..... is it just another subtle anti-spam ploy??!!
BEAUTY! Love your doodles and what they have to say- sassy girls! Just my cuppa! I think that I could spend loads of time with photoshop IF I could read the instructions...I can't so i guess I won't- I should take a class and let the obsession take me away.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your summery header. Your art with the mottos are adorable. Not a Joiner is so me. I do hope you get more time for your art.
ReplyDeletei adore these! oh my gosh, can i glue number one on my forehead??
