Last Sunday I made a banana cake. I loved the colour combination of the eggs, box and bananas.

The week before I had to go to
Bermondsey to collect a parcel for Andy. This is the strange little industrial estate I went to. It is van land I think-where the vans go to sleep at night, before setting off on their travels the next day.
Thanks for the comments yesterday-and thanks Lisa and Tracy for pointing out Hearts for Haiti-an Etsy shop to raise money for Haiti. Here is a
link to that.

VERY fun photos, Sarah... sound like you're having a great weekend! And thank you for the tips for Haiti aid! :o) Happy Weekend ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteDo all your eggs have cute little stamps on them? Ours don't. I feel as though I'm missing out on something special here! Cool shots!
ReplyDeletePS - re the info about the fundraiser shop. I just read back over the comments in your previous post and see that Lisa had explained it all before I did. Sorry about that. I ususally have a read of the comments before I post but must have been distracted by something at the time. Doesn't take much to distract me. A piece of cake will do it. Especially banana cake ;)
You have an eye for little things, don't you? I haven't made a cake for a while. We're trying to reduce the amount of sugar we eat; hard work :(
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week!
Mmmmm...now you have my attention...love banana cake, I'll have just a small piece please, have to watch my girlish figure you know(whatever)!!!

You're right when you said "you like the colour combination" of your cake ingredients, and I definitely agree too. Loving the crown stamps of your eggs. Looks like Sweden royal crown.
ReplyDeleteFantastic shot and of course your artistic.
Happy SS...
Great shadow photo!
ReplyDeleteLove banana cake :)
I love those eggs! Do they really come with those little blue tattoos on them?
ReplyDeleteThat's really funny! I made a banana and blueberry cake earlier this week. I love the idea of the sleepy vans in Bermondsey. Imagine the drivers tiptoeing away quietly after they've locked them up, in case they wake them. Ahh bless!

The Queen's Eggs...!!! Fantastic. Bermondsey Square is where my friend Miss Jeanne lives so I believe I recognized the building where the vans have their sleepovers.
ReplyDeleteGreat Shadow Shot Sunday, Sarah. Thanks for that and the ads re: Haiti.
Candace in Athens. x
