Week of Colour-Green Tuesday

"Green is the prime colour of the world, and that from which its loveliness arises."-Pedro Calderon de la Barca (1600-1681) via google! I liked this quote out of the ones I found.

Trees are green. Obvious I know! I love the shape of this tree-kind of womanly. This view makes me think of Central Park. This little skier is a toy from my youth-I don't remember playing with him at all then but I love him now. I did this painting of him a long time ago-I used poster paints from school-they have kept their brightness very well. This is the beautiful green roof of a church I often drive past. Tonight I stopped to take photos and when I went through the gates I found these roses. This is the green glass block window to my bathroom-it has no natural light so I got this knocked through to let a little in. It is just enough to see by. This is from the outside. Real Acanthus (I think!) -outside the church too. Pretend Acanthus in the bathroom. Green china.

  6. Sarah that little skier guy just made me smile! He looks like he comes alive at night and skies down your cushions - and that's how his tiny hat got all skew...

Also love the quotation and the pictures of the skyline and the tree... country green in the city is great!

  8. I loved the picture of the womanly tree and the painting of your childhood toy.

My favorite Green is how green and vibrant the grass and trees are after a rainstorm. They just vibrate with the color.

Thank you for my acting booklet. I just got it today and start reading it. I am touched by your kindness. I do like it because it's coming from actors I know and like. You rock, Sarah!!
