Light in the bedroom on Friday morning about 6.20.

Great rusty scissor display in Greenwich market last Sunday. I liked this little sculpture the stall holder had made.

Shadow of my hand-looks like I am drinking a dainty cup of tea!

Long Woman of Blackheath shadow! Thursday evening.
Oh, I love all your shadow shots! I did a hand shot this week too, aren't they fun? Oh, and isn't it wonderful to have enough sun to even have shadows!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Like those last 2 very much...and when I am back in London i always walk over Blackheath to Greenwich park from my sister's place in Lee...a ritual!!
ReplyDeleteI love your shadow shots - I must look through my old (real) photos, for one I took in New Zealand some years ago ..... Check out tomorrow's post - post box and phone box will be starring!!
ReplyDeleteThe shadow shot with the scissors is just beautiful. I love the way you captured the light and the play of shadows.
ReplyDeletePrisms:) You have come up in the world in the last shot:)
ReplyDeleteI love the scissors. They're so beautiful and abstract looking.

You always come up with the neatest shadow shots!
ReplyDeleteThese are great! I love the display of rusty scissors. I'm wondering if there's a big market for rusty scissors? I guess creative types can turn them into something cool. I'd be at a loss! And the 'Woman of Blackheath' shadow made me giggle :)
ReplyDeleteLove those old scissors...and wow..what a long shadow, lovely set of SSS :P
ReplyDeleteThanks Sylvia and Anji!

You are right Tracy-I was wondering my self! I think you would need lots so you could make a display like this, other than that I don't know!
Thanks M.Kate!
Cool scissor shots! And the long shadow looks like a modern sculpture.
ReplyDeleteI mean rusty scissors who would ever think of it.
ReplyDeleteI love the fancy cup of tea. Well if you hold your tea like that than you are too fancy for me. Mind you I will love you anways.

It is amazing what people collect - rusty scissors! (I should be the last to speak - I have various rather crazy collections - one that I am still working on is my collection of rosaries, despite being an unbeliever. I am verging on atheism, and yet I LOVE rosaries. Well, they are useful for all kinds of meditation...) I like the shadow pictures, also the flowers you posted on the weekend, and that Found Poem! I love finding poems, I sometimes circle words on a random page to make up a poem!
ReplyDeleteI wonder what stories each scissor might have told if it could.
ReplyDeleteThose scissors are fabulous! And love the shadow of your hand on the camera!
ReplyDeleteI have a smaller less rusty collection of scissors at home! I have really enjoyed this collection! So pleasing!
ReplyDeletei love the scissors!
ReplyDeleteThese are all lovely shots! I am so drawn to that photo of all those antique scissors!
ReplyDeleteFun shadow! Blessings from Amy
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed each of your shadow shots this week ... especially the second to the last where you're daintily drinking tea. Very kewl ;--)
