Rain is forecast after a sunny week. If it arrives I want to take some pictures to vary my banner. Until then I am going to use any photos that take my fancy and have either a loose connection with rain or circles. The title is not just about rain, more about the interconnectedness of the
Internet and the way the circles you move in become wider and wider. Oh enough of my meandering. I got my watercolours out this week, mainly because I found them again in a massive art materials tidy up and organise last weekend. I also found this picture from about five years ago-I had forgotten it. It is a fairy from my favourite painting-long before I thought of making dolls of them!

These are the results of watercolour fun this week.
I like your watercolors especially the fairy. I like to learn how to paint with watercolors. Another thing on my on to do list. We are drowning in rain here in NYC. I do love rainy days, so I'm enjoying it.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
Hi, Sarah! Beautiful paintings! :-)
ReplyDeleteYou too Shell!
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne!
Hi Sarah,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind comment you left on Shell about my blog.
I see in your paintings that you always have a unique trait for the face of girls. I like it.
I wonder Sarah how many paintings do you have and if you can collect all of them in one website?
Thanks Khaled-you are very kind in your comments! I like drawing and painting faces-they make me feel calm and happy. I have lots of paintings, from many years, some I like and some I don't. I have plans for a website but not the skill! My friend Clare on The Dark Side of Everything Good is going to help me one day, when we both have time.
ReplyDeleteHi again Khaled-that's ok about the intro-I think you fellow poets should meet and enjoy each other's work. I am excited to have introduced two of my favourite bloggers!
ReplyDeletelooove your fairy!!! No rain here, just wind wind wind... Weird...
ReplyDeleteI loove rainbows and watercolor, and fairies! WE are kindred ;) xoxo
Thanks Vanessa!
ReplyDeleteLast week was wind, wind, wind here too-quite exhaustingly exhilerating!
Sarah,
ReplyDeleteAs always, your paintings are just beautiful! We have had a lot of rain here but it's normal for NC springs. We usually have very hot, humid, dry summers so I welcome the rain this time of the year. Have a great Sunday!
You too Liz! It still has not rained here-it is sunny again!
ReplyDeleteI especially love the middle one with the white on black and then the red tulip - lovely!
