Joyless Signs

This may become a series, but hopefully not as I don't want my day to be marred by too many of them. This is the table outside the office, which suddenly got into festive mode this week when the poinsettia appeared. The ambience has since been ruined by the appearance of the sign. Ways to improve the sign might be the magic word we bang on about all the time, or the use of the 'plant's' lovely name, or even the reason why we shouldn't water it. Or maybe the use of a pretty cursive font. But no. No learning there then. Just joylessness.
I see that please was used. Still joyless.

Beautiful plant. The sign is just not nice.

Please put a couple of coloured pencils there for passers by to wish the plant a happy christmas on the stark sign which really needs to drop the attitude!

The poinsettia needs you and your lovely creative and caring heart. Maybe you can ask to adopt it after its term on the table...if it survives the starkness lack of love.

Christmas mystery! Is is a plastic plant? Is it hydrophobic? Is there a compulsive sign writer at work?

Oh, yes, this could become a series! But no... who wants to carry too much negative energy?! ;o) Still, this was funny. LOVE your new banner--very dreamy. Happy Days, Sarah ((HUGS))

Hi Sarah, just catching up after a busy week. Perhaps a little explanation as to why the plant is not to be watered might help ..... or perhaps a little bit of humour "please don't water me, only Santa's little helper is allowed to do that" or something similar!! Anne x

Under no circumstances or just when droopy?
